HOLLOWCORE SPEEDDRI® FABRIC COMFORT SYSTEM:
The core of ThermaTech product is based on the Hollowcore SpeedDri Fabric Comfort System which gives ThermaTech a unique point of difference.Hollowcore SpeedDri® is a high tech fabric specifically and uniquely engineered to thermoregulate your body temperature, keep you dry and comfortable. Hollowcore SpeedDri ® fabrics are made from specially engineered polyester fibres with an increased surfacearea. This special four-channel fibre thermoregulates the body temperature in 2 ways. Firstly, by being hollow, it traps warm air to thermoregulate your body temperature. Secondly, the 4 channel fibre forms a permanent transport system that pulls moisture away from the skin to the outer layer of the fabric. It therefore dries the moisture fasterthan other fabrics while simultaneously thermoregulating the body by evaporative cooling. Hence, “Warm in Winter, Cool in Summer and Dry all year round”.

MVP Breathability 3000
The breathability of a fabric (MVP) is crucial in outdoor product to ensure that perspiration can be moved away from the body more effectively. Breathability is measured by the rate at which water vapour passes through, in the units of grams of water vapour per square metre of fabric per 24hr period (g/m2/d), often abbreviated to just “g”.
mm Water Resistance 3000
The water resistance of a fabric (mm) is crucial in outdoor product to ensure that you remain dry when in wet or damp conditions. Water resistance is measured by the amount of water, in mm, which can be suspended above the fabric before water seeps through.
Seam Seal
Seam seal refers to seams that have extra protection over them to help prevent water penetration.
Water Repellent
All garments that are not seam sealed, but have water resistant properties (mm), are considered water resistant and cannot be called waterproof.
GSM Grams Per Square Metre
Refers to the weight of the fabric in grams per square metre.
